How verification works
Every sealed number on Vemzio comes from a read-only connection to a payment provider. This page explains exactly what that means — what we read, what we can never touch, and how to undo it.
Read-only access only: no money movement, no customer emails, no payouts.
Metrics are computed from the provider API — never declared by the seller.
Sealed numbers are locked: the builder cannot edit them by hand.
Access is revocable by the builder in one click, at any time.
The four steps
- 01
Connect. You grant a read-only OAuth scope (Stripe, Polar) or paste a restricted API key scoped to metrics. The credential is stored encrypted and never leaves the server.
- 02
Compute. At sync time we call the provider's own API — the same one their dashboard uses — and compute MRR, active subscriptions and churn from raw records, not from any number you typed.
- 03
Seal. The computed values are written to your public profile with the provider name and sync time attached. They are read-only: only a new sync can change them.
- 04
Revoke. Disconnect in one click from your dashboard — or kill the key at your provider. Your profile drops the sealed badge the next crawl.
Supported providers
Ten providers today, one identical mechanic: a scoped, revocable credential. OAuth for Stripe and Polar; restricted keys for the rest.
What we never read
No money movement. No customer emails. No customer lists. No payouts or bank details. No refunds, no products, no settings. A metrics credential sees aggregates — if a provider offers richer scopes, we simply don't ask for them.
